We are a group of Lander families who want Lander schools to stay strong under responsible leadership for the future of our children and our community. All Lander students deserve access to the high-quality public education protected by the Wyoming State Constitution and that has traditionally been the experience at Fremont County School District #1.
School boards are nonpartisan governing bodies that focus on supporting public education.
Currently a faculty member at Central Wyoming College, Mara has previously worked for several school districts, including as a coach for the LVHS ski team and as a substitute teacher at FCSD#1. Mara was born and raised in Lander, Wyoming. She and her 2 brothers attended Fremont County School District #1 from kindergarten to graduation. The Lander school system provided Mara with a stellar education and she’d like to give back by serving as a trustee on the FCSD#1 school board. Her extensive background in education makes her a strong candidate as does her investment in the future of the Lander community.
Lander Schools for the Future, PAC supports Mara because she wants to ensure our schools keep serving all students, faculty, staff, and the greater Lander community.
Born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Daniel and his wife moved to her hometown of Lander to be closer to her family. Upon moving to Lander in 2019, he taught in Fort Washakie and now teaches in Fremont School District #25 as a concurrent enrollment government, psychology, and computer science teacher. His family loves living in Lander. Public education is vastly important to him as is ensuring equal access to quality education for all students.
Lander Schools for the Future, PAC supports Daniel because of his commitment to all students and staff and his dedication to the Lander community.

Lander Schools for the Future, PAC supports Buck because of his vast experience in education and deep connection to students in the Lander area.
